This is the latest release from The White Stripes which is absolutely amazing as usual. The Jack and Meg duo are back at it again doing what they do best, mixing blues, country, bluegrass, rock, and even a little punk to get your heart pumping. As a follow up to their last album Get Behind Me Satan in 2005 I would have to say this is well worth the wait. I know Jack did some side work for a bit with the Raconteurs (and I have to say that is a great bunch of musicians as well) but I am sure glad to see him and Meg back at it again. At this price you won't want to miss out on this CD.

If you weren't able to make it to this amazing show or haven't had the chance to see Pearl Jam live, this is the next best thing. Check out this live DVD that is a wonderful representation of a band that has helped define rock music in our era as well as standing the test of time. Although I have seen them play on numerous occasions I still love to break out this DVD and enjoy the raw thrills that Pearl Jam brings out in their live performances. The band consists of Eddie Vedder (lead vocals, guitar), Jeff Ament (bass guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm guitar), and Mike McCready (lead guitar). The band's current drummer is Matt Cameron, formerly of Soundgarden, who has been with the band since 1998.
